THIS LISTING DOES NOT INCLUDE THE HANDLEBAR POD HEADLIGHT. This is a popular option for people who bought the 2020 Sportsman Trail edition which came with the LED headlights, but not the LED handlebar pod light. Polaris just recently came out with a new LED handlebar pod headlight that will fit 2017+ Sportsman 850/1000 (non-Touring, non-High Lifter models) and 2021+ Sportsman 450/570 (non-X2, non-Touring models).

The part number for this new pod headlight is. This new LED pod light is very cool and MUCH brighter than the stock, non-LED light.

Style light just contain one. The new LED light contains a halo ring and three powerful LEDs. They are much brighter than the old style pod headlight and should never burn out.

There are some adapters out there to connect this but with those adapters, the halo ring will NOT be on when the ATV is running and the light switch is in the OFF position. With my adapter, the halo ring will be ON when the ATV is running and the light switch is in the OFF position. 2884859 harness (see my other listings). Convert your 2-wire plug on your ATV to the new plug required for the LED handlebar pod light. Installation should take less than 20 minutes and it is completely. You do NOT need to cut or tap into any wires on your factory harness.

It does need to use one of the two orange accessory wires that are on your ATV near the battery. It comes with instructions and I will be able to help answer any questions you have.

It is made with the same components Polaris uses on their factory harnesses. It has a piggy back spade bit on the accessory wire so you do not "lose" one of your two accessory wires on your ATV.

If you are unsure what you are doing, please have your dealer or another professional install it. When the light switch is OFF: halo ring will be on, LEDs will be off. When the light switch is on LO: halo ring will be on, LEDs will be off. When the light switch is on HI: halo ring will be on, LEDs will be on. NOTE: This listing DOES NOT include the pod headlight. It is only for the adapter that is needed to connect the new pod light. It will not work with the original, non-LED pod light and will only work with the new LED one part. This adapter is only for the handlebar pod light - it will not work with Polaris left and right bumper headlights. What's the difference between these new Polaris LED headlights vs installing aftermarket LED bulbs in the existing headlights? LED bulbs are bright, but they do not project outwards. If you put them in and look at them head on, they will be very bright. But if you are riding your ATV at night with them, they do not illuminate very much in front of you because they do not project outward.

Do a Google search and read people's reviews on them. Also, the new Polaris handlebar pod headlight has a halo feature. Aftermarket LED bulbs do not have halo.

This adapter will ONLY work with the following Sportsman models. 2017+ Sportsman 850 (non-Touring, non-High Lifter).

2017+ Sportsman 1000 (non-Touring, non-High Lifter). 2021+ Sportsman 570 (non-Touring, non-X2). All other Sportsman models and years it will NOT work with.

It will not work with any RZR, General, Ace, Scramble or other UTV or side by side models.
